Salted is a next-generation, online cooking school that's working with 100 and counting of the best chefs in the US. We empower home chefs to learn how to cook entirely through beautiful, on-demand HD video. Think of Salted as "Lynda.com for cooking."

We are looking for someone who:
-Uses Ruby, JavaScript and HTML/CSS to develop features on both the front and back end
-Thinks about product from business and customer perspectives
-Has a disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance
-Has a solid portfolio of code that has been built and shipped to users
-Is based in Los Angeles
-Is a positive and motivated person with strong attention to detail
-Wants to play a play a critical role in determining the company's success with your creativity
-Wants to help hire / build out our tech team
-Has a passion / interest for cooking and food
Big plus:
-Visual design skills
-Familiar with AWS, Heroku, Bootstrap, Responsive Web Design
-Experience working with APIs including: Stripe, Brightcove, Mailchimp, Recurly
-Contributes to open source communities
